This week a little cool front has moved in with some much needed rain so I couldn’t resist these roses at Trader Joe’s today. I popped them in one of my favorite containers…a vintage patina-ed silver pitcher. It’s such a forgiving vessel when I want to simply cut the stems without a lot of fussing/arranging. The narrow neck keeps the stems in place, and a dozen roses fit perfectly. Hope you’re enjoying a little break from the heat wherever you are and your dreams of fall!

I added a bit of purple statice leftovers from another arrangement. I have loved this color combination since I was 9 years old and received some stationery with this theme. It’s my go-to secret for making orange appear all the more vibrant.
